This video shows a heart-warming exchange between two strangers in the middle of a random tube station in London. A singer from the show Cats decided to join a street musician for an impromptu rendition of the classic song Somewhere Over the Rainbow.

The city of London installed public pianos throughout its extensive tube network to encourage use by the public. One 97-year-old man frequents the piano at his local St. Pancras Station.

On normal days, only a few people will stop to listen to the beautiful sounds created by this talented man. Most commuters are too busy to stop and enjoy the music.

All of that changed one fateful day when the elderly man was accompanied by performer Ceili O'Conner.

The chance encounter was filmed by a fellow Cat's star. The cast was on its way to Brussels after completing a successful tour in the United Kingdom. Instead of passing by the piano player like a majority of people, O'Conner decided to offer her powerful voice.

Matthew Rowland, a talented actor in his own right, captured the magic on his smartphone. After the inspiring duet, Rowland posted the video on social media. Within a few days, the video was viewed by millions of people around the world who were moved by the chance performance.

There is something uplifting and beautiful about two strangers performing a stunning song together.

Since the recording of the performance, O'Conner has admitted that she is "slightly overwhelmed" by the massive response that the video has elicited. In addition to going viral on all social media platforms, the story has also been shared by countless news outlets across the country and internationally.

O'Conner took to social media to thank viewers for their positive responses to the video. The classy performer moved the attention and praise to the elderly man who was also a star of the video. O'Conner mentioned that she could sing with the piano player all day.

Unlike most places on the internet, the comment sections below this video are full of positivity and encouragement.

One person commented that their faith in humanity was restored after seeing the video. Another viewer mentioned that the inspiration duet between the two strangers is proof that people can get along. There was even one commenter who said the video was one of the only things that could animate her mother suffering from Parkinson's.
