Catherine Zeta-Jones Says She Is "So Proud" Of Husband Michael Douglas During Fun Date Night At SAG Awards

Hollywood movie stars Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones have been together for an impressive 20 years as they made an appearance at this years Screen Actor's Guild Awards. The couple seemed to be having a nice date night as Douglas was nominated for an award.  

Douglas and Zeta-Jones do not live in Los Angeles so going to the SAG Awards is a bit of a date night for the couple. Douglas told E! News that he and Catherine like attending the SAG awards because you're honored and nominated by your peers. Douglas who was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series for his role in "The Kominsky Method." 

Catherine gushed over her husband saying, "I'm so proud of him."

Douglas looked classic in a black tuxedo while Catherine shimmered in a platinum long-sleeved gown by Welsh designer Julien McDonald and JULIEN X GABRIELA as she told Entertainment Tonight. "I have a bit of Wales with me tonight again accompanying my wonderful husband on his nomination."

When speaking to Access on the red carpet, Michael Douglas shared that it is often commonplace to take the person closest to you for granted. He mentioned that sometimes people often make a bigger effort with a total stranger than with their partner.

However, he said that he always focuses on remembering how fortunate he is to have Catherine in his life, reminding himself continuously to make a conscious effort to remember every day what an exceptional woman she is.
