Our favorite Hollywood couple Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones are celebrating 20 years of marriage this November. The pair opened up about their plans in an exclusive interview last month.

Despite their milestone anniversary, however, the actors are keeping their celebrations low-key as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

In a recent interview with People, Zeta-Jones revealed that she and her husband will not be hosting a big party in honor of their special day.

"We won't be doing any great big party," she told the publication. "Not that I'm a big party fan anyway."

"It would be nice to get all our friends together in one space, but we're not doing that until we're completely out of the woods. So I will raise my mask and let my husband passionately kiss me, then I will put it firmly back on."

The Zeta-Jones/Douglas clan have had something of a reunion in the last couple of months, as they all isolate together in their home. Before the pandemic, the couple’s eldest son Dylan, 19, was off at college while his 17-year-old sister, Carys, was in school in Switzerland.

"All of a sudden we were all back together again. And I have to say, I loved it. I really loved it," Zeta-Jones told People.

Douglas and Zeta-Jones first met in 1996 at the Deauville Film Festival. According to Douglas, the two had an immediate spark from the very second they saw each other. He told the audience at the Paley Center for American Media last year, as cited by the Hollywood Reporter:

"I looked at her, and I said, 'Catherine, I’m going to be the father of your children,'" Douglas said at the event. "The first time I met her! You think that went over big?"
