Cat With The Coolest Mohawk

Aug 18, 2020 by apost team

Like people, cats have distinct personalities. Some pet owners become attached to a particular feline because it acts special and unlike other cats. An orange tabby named TyaTora decided to change its look.

The 7-year-old kitty chose to grow its hair in a puffy mohawk. Maybe the look is a bit more retro 1960s beehive than a 1970s punk mohawk. Cats have to style their hair by themselves, as they can't visit a grooming salon without help.

TyaTora does deserve some recognition for coming up with such a unique look. The tabby even decided to show off the look to fellow feline friends. A funny video shows the tabby in fashion model-inspired action.

If there were a word to describe TyaTora, it would be content. The cat looks quite happy in the video, and its facial expression and eyelids display traditional cat-like contentment. The cat takes notice of the camera and looks at it quizzically. Perhaps the tabby wondered why he was getting so much attention. Let us not assume the cat doesn't want any attention, though.

The other cats move around in the background. They don't seem to notice their friend, although the tabby's posturing appears as if he's trying to draw attention. Or is he merely trying to rest, and we humans project intentions on him? Maybe the answer is a little bit of both.

The tabby does come off a bit like a lion in the video. Those who watch animal kingdom documentaries might see similarities between how the little tabby acts and how majestic lions carry themselves in the wild. Lions and tabbies are somewhat related, so the comparisons between the two aren't too obtuse.

Mystery still surrounds the cat's hairstyle. How did the feline's mane end up the way it appears on the video? The tabby is not telling, so we are left wondering.

Are there cat lovers among your friends and family members? How about showing them the video of this cool-looking cat? Maybe it will inspire them to change their hair or, for that matter, adopt a cat in need of a home.
