Cat With Paralyzed Back Legs Comforts Sick Animals At A Russian Animal Hospital

Sometimes, having a friend at your side is all that it takes to feel better when you’re going through a rough time or battling an illness. This isn’t just true for humans – animals can benefit from a supportive friend as well. This is what the Clinic Fang in Perm, Russia is based on.

Lucifer is the Clinic Fang’s own support animal that resides there in the clinic. This beautiful black cat has the important job of being there to comfort and support the animal patients that are receiving treatment in the clinic.

Lucifer is no stranger to getting care for injuries. When he was first rescued as an abandoned cat, he was in bad condition with paralyzed back legs. Although the clinic did everything possible to give him good treatment, this brave cat’s back legs have never been able to regain their feeling or ability to move.

Unwilling to let his health problems hold him back, Lucifer has found his purpose in life by providing support for the other sick animals. In pictures posted by the clinic, we see Lucifer happily providing cuddles and love to the animals that are enduring sickness and physical difficulties. While he likes to help keep the animals warm by cozying his body up next to them, he also understands that some of the patients need their space, so he just comforts them from a distance.

Lucifer makes friends easily and rarely meets an animal that he doesn’t like, and the sick animals relish his attention! This makes him an important part of the staff at the clinic since he plays a huge role in the healing process.

While Lucifer loves to help the other animals, he still struggles with physical difficulties of his own. He has problems walking without the use of his back legs, but he still continues to do whatever it takes to make his way toward the other animals.

On top of just providing comfort for the other animals, Lucifer has also been known to donate his own blood through transfusions! The Clinic Fang appreciates Lucifer’s presence on their staff. He manages to be the poster child for the clinic’s social media pages along with their website.

While Lucifer has faced many difficulties in life, he has continued to make sure that his life is valuable and full of service to others. We should consider him an inspiration in our own lives!
