Cat Gets Locked Up In Solitary Confinement After He Kept Letting Other Cats Out

If you like a good jailbreak story, then this tale – is perfect for you! Meet Quilty, the mastermind feline who is serving time in solitary confinement after being convicted of breaking his fellow shelter residents out of their cages!

That’s right, Quilty has a thing for mischief, and he’s certainly caused plenty of it during his time at the Friends for Life Animal Rescue Organization of Houston, Texas. During his stay in the shelter, six-year-old Quilty has spent his time helping his friends escape from their cages and run free in the building.

This isn’t the first time that Quilty has tried to cause trouble. At his previous home, he had a bad habit of opening doors and letting the dogs into the house when they were supposed to be outside. Understandably, his old owners weren’t thrilled to come home and find the dogs running wildly through the house, tearing things up and making messes on the floor.

Despite the fact that Quilty is certainly a trouble-maker, the world is falling in love with him. In fact, there is now an Instagram page called “Free Quilty” that documents his time in the shelter and his mischievous ways. The workers at the shelter are making a joke of Quilty’s confinement, reporting that his review with the parole board was denied and that he had opted to release himself, only to be returned to solitary. They also state that his roommates miss him and wish they could enjoy more wild parties at the shelter when Quilty was releasing them to run free during the night.

This cat is certainly quite a character; however, the shelter workers have quickly fallen in love with him and are doing their part to try to find him a new home. While the Instagram page is a lot of fun, it also serves a secondary purpose of finding Quilty people who will love him along with all his quirks.

With his adorable face, sleek coat, and awesome personality, we hope that Quilty can find his forever home very soon – and we also hope that his new owners are in for an adventure as this mastermind works hard to break out of any closed room!
