Two legends rocked the Country Music Fest this past June. Carrie Underwood and Joan Jett graced the stage to perform some classic country and rock n roll hits. Although Underwood is one of the biggest names in the music industry she couldn’t help but share how it was a dream come true that she was able to share the stage with Joan Jett.

Carrie Underwood rocked the night away at Nashville's’ CMA Fest. She shocked fans when she brought Joan Jett & the Blackhearts out as special guests to perform some musical numbers with her. The country-rock dream duo performed Jett hits like “Bad Reputation,” “Crimson and Clover,” “I Hate Myself for Loving You,” “Fresh Start,” and more.

They finished off the incredible night with the iconic hit “I Love Rock & Roll”. Underwood took to Instagram to share her joy in performing with Jett writing, “Dreams come true at #CMAFest! This was mine. Just to be in the same room as @joanjett is really cool...to share the stage with her is indescribable!” Underwood posted a photo of the two singing into a microphone followed by some other snapshots from the evening.

Underwood continued with her praise of Jett saying, “She truly is a legend and is probably the coolest person I have ever met. I was so proud to show her how amazing our CMA Fest crowd is! What a night!”
