On February 15, beloved British TV personality Caroline Flack was found dead in her home in North London after taking her own life.

According to the Mirror, Flack had found out the day before that a trial regarding her allegedly harassing her boyfriend would be taking place this March.

In December, Caroline Flack was arrested and let go on bail after she allegedly attacked her boyfriend, Lewis Burton, with a lamp. The two had not been in contact, as per one of the terms of her bail.

The former TV presenter and her lawyers had reportedly challenged the term so the couple could be reunited for Christmas, but their appeal was turned down.

Her lawyers subsequently advised Flack to stay off social media while the case was still ongoing. The former Dancing with the Stars contestant broke this ban a couple of times before her death. In late December, she took to Instagram to say she will not be “silenced.”

“Been advised not to go on social media ,” she wrote. “But I wanted to say happy Christmas to everyone who has been so incredibly kind to me this year..... this kind of scrutiny and speculation is a lot to take on for one person to take on their own... I’m a human being at the end of the day and I’m not going to be silenced when I have a story to tell and a life to keep going with .... I’m taking some time out to get feeling better and learn some lessons from situations I’ve got myself into to.I have nothing but love to give and best wishes for everyone.”

A day before her death, which was Valentine’s day, Burton reportedly took to Instagram to share a story where he declared his love for Flack. The social media personality then took to Instagram once more a couple of days later to express his grief following news of Flack’s death.

He wrote:

“My heart is broken we had something so special. I am so lost for words I am in so much pain I miss you so much I know you felt safe with me you always said I don’t think about anything else when I am with you and I was not allowed to be there this time I kept asking and asking.

“I will be your voice baby I promise I will ask all the questions you wanted and I will get all the answers nothing will bring you back but I will try make you proud every day. I love you with all my heart.”

Our condolences go out to the Flack family.
