Older people are like young people in many ways. Whether you’re old or young, people will always want to have a good time and live their lives to the fullest. Singer Cardi B recently proved that no matter how old you are, you can still enjoy a good concert and jam session. Cardi was a guest on The Late Late Show with James Corden earlier this month.

After a session of carpool karaoke, Corden began questioning Cardi about her fanbase. Driving down a sunny California street, the comedian asked Cardi if she ever played for an older audience. The young singer was a little taken aback by Corden’s question, not really sure where she could perform for an older crowd. In a hilarious twist, the duo then pulled into the Culver City Senior Center.

Entering a dance class, Corden introduced Cardi as the top-selling female singer in the world. Despite a middling of applause, most of the seniors in the dance class were a little confused by the two young people who invaded their usual routine, not knowing that Cardi was a famous singer.

One man even stepped into the hallway to call his repairman. Laughing at the mixed reactions she got, Cardi began singing her most recent single “I Like It.” Much to Cardi’s surprise, the audience really enjoyed her performance. With Corden leading, many of the seniors began dancing to Cardi’s song. One gentleman named Gunter was extremely moved by Cardi’s performance.

Dancing close to the singer, Gunter asked Cardi if she was looking for a new significant other. A little surprised, Cardi replied “Sure” with a laugh. The singer recently split with husband, the rapper Offset. After finishing her performance, Cardi shared some of her exercise tips with the class, telling how she used the techniques to lose weight after having her baby girl.

Cardi’s performance has been lauded on social media. A lot of her admirers point out how she brightened the day of all the people in the class. She also proved that age is not a criterion to have to stop enjoying life.
