These six methods can help ease a young child's pain. Before you begin a massage, your baby should be fully relaxed. It's helpful to give a foot rub or warm bath beforehand to encourage the blood to flow properly.
1. Headaches and Toothaches
It's common for babies to experience pain in their head and teeth. When their teeth are first coming in, they often have a hard time! If your child is having headaches or a tough time with teething, you should massage the very tips of their toes. 2. Sinus Pain

3. Chest Pain
Children who have chest congestion will experience a lot of pain. Their throats are sore from coughing, their chests are tight, and they may be having trouble breathing properly. If you're concerned about your child's breathing, you should get a medical professional's opinion. But if you just need to relieve their pain for a little while, you can help by massaging the pads of their feet. Press gently on the place just under the goes and move your fingertips in small circles to help relieve problems with coughing and congestion.
4. Stomach Pain
If a child is having stomach problems, tightness in their abdomen, spasms, and trouble getting a deep breath, you should massage the center of their foot. The best place is right below the pad, where the arch of the foot just starts to become relieved. This entire area connects to your baby's solar plexus. The solar plexus is a collection of different nerves found between the lungs and stomach. Oftentimes, these nerves are what is causing the pain, so a foot massage allows relief.
5. Abdominal Pain
For indigestion, heartburn, and constipation, you should massage the place between the middle of the foot and the pads of the foot. If babies experience pains due to bloating and gas in their lower intestines, you should massage the spot between their heel and the middle of their foot.
6. Pelvic Pain
Sometimes, a baby will grow faster than their hips are ready for, which can cause pain. To help with this problem, you should rub your baby's heel. The heel might also help with upset stomachs and constipation.
