Caitlyn Jenner Reveals Why Her Children Still Refer To Her As ‘Dad’ Years After Her Transition

Caitlyn Jenner competed on the famed TV show "I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here". She was chosen to join the cast in the jungles of Australia for the British version of the show. Caitlyn actually first appeared on the show in 2003 for the American version. Although she struggled the second time around, she did the very best that she could.

In one episode, a group of ladies was chatting and Caitlyn decided to get candid about her family. She told the group that despite being a trans woman her family still refers to her as "dad". She explained that her kids still call her dad because of a statement she made to Kendall a few years ago. When Kendall asked Caitlyn, she said that she would always be her dad up until the day she dies.

Caitlyn continued on to explain that her children really impress her when using the word "dad" in a sentence and correctly changing the pronoun to "her" for Caitlyn. She admitted that the change can be tough, but that she was shocked all the time when her children make the change when talking about their dad.
Caitlyn never wants there to be a time when her kids feel uncomfortable or awkward about times in their life when she was Bruce. She said that Bruce was the one who raised them and that Caitlin is now enjoying life with the kids.
Caitlyn is a father of six children. Cassandra and Burt, who are 43-years-old and 45-years-old, are children of Chrystie Jenner, Caitlyn's first wife. Brody and Brandon, who are 40-years-old and 42-years-old, are sons of Linda Thompson. Kris Jenner, Caitlyn's last wife, is the mother of Kris and Kylie Jenner. Nowadays, Caitlyn is a grandmother to 23 grandchildren. Caitlyn shared what these kids call her. She revealed that the children came up with the name "Boom Boom". She said the nickname has stuck and that it's easy for them to say.
