Actor Jamie Lee Curtis takes home an award as she opens up about how she is always busy nowadays. The scream queen was recently honored with a humanitarian award while also revealing the movies and television series she has been working adamantly on.

Curtis received an award this past Saturday from Project Angel Food. When giving her acceptance speech the "Halloween" actress said, “I'm 60 and I'm hot all of a sudden. As the kids say, I am busy AF. I mean, I'm busy. I'm, like, freaking busy.” This was Curtis' second award she has collected since starring in last year's revival of "Halloween."

Besides starring in front of the camera, Curtis has been working on the other side of it as well. She offered her reasoning to The Hollywood Reporter as to why she has been working like crazy:

“I have a philosophy that is simply when you die, any creativity that you have inside you that you didn't bring out dies with you,” she said.

“The tragedy is not death itself — death is reality — but the creativity that lives inside us as creative people. As long as we're alive, we need to bring it out. I want to make sure that when I go, whenever it is, that there's nothing that I have left in here that I wish I had brought out to the world, and so I am now bringing it all out.”

The "Freaky Friday" star also revealed the most recent projects and her upcoming ones that are keeping her so busy. "I am going to do a TV series for Blumhouse; I'm going to do two more ‘Halloween’ movies; I conceived another television series that we just sold to Fox — I am in a creative cyclone,” Curtis said.

Curtis also says how after raising a family she has time to live out her past ideas.

"Now, I'm healthy and strong, but I'm 60. And I've raised my family, and now it's time for me to manifest creativity that has been inside me. The movie I wrote for Blumhouse, which is an eco-horror movie called Mother Nature, I had the idea when 18 years old.”
