Bus Driver Sends Note Home With Child - When Mother Begins To Read, She Can't Hold Back Tears

Usually, when caretakers send a note home with children, it is not good at all. It's usually a negative report about the children's behavior, and it usually requests a meeting with the caretaker. This, however, was not the case with a recent letter that a bus driver sent home with two children.

Cindy Clausen sent a letter home to Jorge and Annalise's mother about something she thought was remarkable. Apparently, the children had developed a strong sense of empathy and compassion, and they displayed it by helping a disabled boy.

Jackson was a child who suffered from a condition that caused him to have physical difficulties and be subject to mistreatment and seclusion by other students. Jorge and Annalise made sure that this person felt comfortable.

They recognized that he had challenges, and they helped him with those challenges rather than shunning him. They helped him with his bag and helped him get on the bus. They also made sure they could sit with him so that he didn't feel alone.

They asked if they could sit with Jackson every day, and they spent time with him as they were his friends. The bus driver felt like these two children were special because few people reach out to people when they see them struggling.

Current Society seems to encourage an "every man for himself" attitude and a general lack of empathy. She took the time to write a note to their mother because she felt like their behavior resulted from the strong upbringing.

The letter stated that something compelled the bus driver to write to the mother just to let her know how beautiful her children were.

She explained about Jackson and how her two children assisted him on the bus and always invited him to sit with them and spend time with them. She said she wanted them to know how wonderful they are and that her parenting skills and teachings had rubbed off on them positively. Their behavior showed that their parents took a lot of time instilling a sense of compassion and empathy into them. We just don't see that every day.

The mother probably felt terrific receiving that letter. A lot of parents don't have high esteem regarding parenting because there is no manual for perfect parenting. They all try to do the best they can and hope that their message gets through to their children.

Instances like this prove that dedicated parenting works. Let your close ones know about this story and remember that your kids are listening and learning.
