10-Year-Old Roberta Battaglia received America's Got Talent judge Sofia Vergara's first-ever golden buzzer after her audition. She sang the song Shallow from the movie, A Star Is Born. The 15th season of AGT was filled with great auditions, but Battaglia's really stole the show.

According to the episode that aired on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2020, Bottaglia's interest in singing started when her father would let her sing Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star at restaurants he would also sing at when she was just three-and-a-half years old. She also said she had been watching America's Got Talent since she was little and had always dreamed of being on the show.

When Battaglia gets on stage, she tells Vergara how much she loves her and how she watchers her on the show Modern Family. She also lets the judges know that she's from Toronto, Canada.

When asked what she would do if she won the million-dollar prize, she said she would give her dog, Happy, a little girlfriend.

Because she is first too nervous to sing, host Terry Crews brings her some water. After that, the backing track starts and she sings the song with a rich voice that his hard to believe a ten-year-old can possess.

Sofia Vergara's mouth drops as Battaglia belts out the powerful notes Lady Gaga originally sings in the song. The judges all give her a standing ovation. Battaglia cries after her performance because this is a dream that she has had for so long, and she even has experienced being bullied in school.

"You're ten years old," Vergara says, "it's impossible to sing like that at ten years old." After that statement, Vergara hits the golden buzzer, pushing Battaglia further on in the competition.
