Who wouldn’t want to live like royalty? It’s safe to say that the royal family is known for having some pretty beautiful residences. They have grandiose estates filled with top-of-the-line furnishings, and even more amazing amenities in their surrounding outside area.

Queen Elizabeth II has a famous residency at Buckingham Palace in London, England, but she actually doesn’t stay there as often as one might think. In fact, the reigning monarch has found a home at Windsor Castle, and even has room for Prince William and Kate Middleton to live at the estate, bringing their family even closer together. Prince Philip also lived at Windsor Castle prior to his passing in April 2021.

Despite being such a notable and public figure, the Queen rarely gives interviews. However, much of her character is seen through her charitable causes and her duties as a working royal family member. On top of that, many sources have shared information about the Queen and how much she loves her family, especially her grandchildren.

Still, it’s amazing to see all of the wonderful amenities and furnishings that Buckingham Palace has to offer. It’s open to the general public, making it a huge tourist attraction for locals and visitors alike. The palace also underwent renovations starting in 2019 that cost upwards of hundreds of millions of dollars, making the grand building even more magnificent.
