Bruce Willis has been rarely seen since he announced his retirement from acting due to aphasia in 2022. Aphasia is a language disorder that affects one’s ability to communicate, and after this diagnosis, the actor’s wife then revealed that the actor’s condition had progressed to frontotemporal dementia. The “Die Hard” actor, 70, has faced health issues amid his battle. Fortunately, his wife, Emma Heming Willis, his ex-wife, actress Demi Moore, and his five daughters from both marriages have been supporting him throughout this time, occasionally sharing health updates and candid family moments with his loving fans. Bruce’s blended family includes his and Moore’s daughters Rumer Willis, 36, Scout Willis, 33 and Tallulah Willis, 31, his wife Emma and their girls Mabel, 13, and Evelyn, 11
His youngest daughter with Moore, Tallulah, shared heartwarming photos of her father during a cherished family visit to her grandmother’s home in June 2025.
Tallulah’s elder sister, Rumer, had also opened up about their dad’s struggles and how grateful they all were for each moment they were able to spend with Bruce. The actress celebrated Father’s Day in 2025 with a heartfelt post on Instagram.
“I feel a deep ache in my chest to talk to you and tell you everything I’m doing and what’s going on in my life,” Rumer wrote in the caption. “To hug you and ask you about life and your stories and struggles and successes. I wish I asked you more questions while you could still tell me about it all.”

The Willis family has given glimpses into their life amid Bruce’s battle with frontotemporal dementia, a diagnosis the family publicly shared in February 2023. They have been candid about the challenges and adjustments they’ve faced, emphasizing the importance of cherishing present moments. They make sure to spend the holidays together, usually sporting adorably on-theme matching pajamas.
Tallulah’s recent post wasn’t the first time she had posted sweet moments with her famous dad. In April, she shared a throwback photo of herself and her parents at a childhood birthday party wearing character costumes from the early 2000s hit Nickelodeon animated series “Rugrats.” The sweet throwback was followed by a caption explaining the outfits.
“Dad was Deedee Pickles, draped in pearls and committing to the role as the true professional he is,” Tallulah wrote in the caption. “I was Kimmie, in baby doll dress with a handsewn kitten face and cowboy boots.”
The images Tallulah posted on Instagram in June 2025 also captured intimate moments that resonate deeply with fans familiar with Bruce’s ongoing health journey. One of the photographs showed Tallulah, 31, sitting beside her father, 70, both smiling warmly and holding hands. Another was of the duo embracing, with family members conversing in the background. Tallulah's fiancé, Justin Acee, also appeared, sharing a lighthearted moment with Bruce. The carousel of images showed a wholesome day spent with the family and was accompanied by the caption:
“Sunday funday at Grams ! Grateful 🕊️”
Despite his deteriorating health, Bruce has had the support of his family and close friends. His fans have also shared their gratitude for the occasional updates.
