Brothers Perform Innovative Twin-Themed Choreography At Dance Competition

The Les Twins are a pair of French brothers specializing in urban dancing. At the 2014 World of Dance Competition, an urban choreography and dance competition, they wowed the audience with their humorous and unbelievable performance. Their spirited performance saw them win the All Styles 2 vs. 2 Final award.

The Les Twins are comprised of identical twin brothers Larry and Laurent Nicolas Bourgeois. The brothers are completely self-taught dancers from Sarcelles, France, just north of Paris. They are the youngest of nine children of Guadeloupean parents. They began dancing at a very early age and learned their dance moves by watching other dancers on the street.

In their pre-teens, they started to incorporate more formal and professional techniques, including ballet, into their routines. Their style is unique with a combination of many styles of dance, both classic and urban. The moves are combined with speed and stops and starts that give them their own unique style and vibe. They also have a way of mixing humor into the routine to keep it fun and fresh.

The brothers won the US World of Dance competition reality series featuring Jennifer Lopez in 2017 and have performed on the stage with some of today's hottest artists, including Missy Elliot and Beyonce. They also work as runway models for French haute couture brands such as Jean-Paul Gaultier and YSL and have been featured in ads by Chanel, Gucci, and Prada. It is clear that they have an extensive skill set and we will continue to see amazing things from them for years to come.
