Bridesmaid Poured Wine On Bride’s Mother-In-Law Who Attended Wedding Wearing Bridal Dress

Weddings are supposed to be the most important day for every woman who dreams of getting married. So, everything on that special day should be all about the bride, no questions asked. But weddings can be full of surprises, too. This includes the occasional drama between the bride and the mother-in-law.
Five years ago, a woman took to Reddit to share her experience when she served as a bridesmaid for her friend's wedding. When she told Redditors (people on Reddit), they were in for a wild ride, and she wasn't kidding at all.
"Strap in guys, this is a wild ride in which I did THE THING that got me banned from any of her family functions. (Plus a few threats of dismemberment and bodily harm)," user Theloniou5, the bridesmaid, began.
A night before the wedding, the bride texted her bridesmaid friend and said that she had a bad feeling about her wedding the next day.
On the wedding day itself, the bride told her friends that she hadn't seen her mother-in-law the entire day and that she had skipped her hair and makeup appointment. That definitely gave the bride and her friend an eerie feeling. To their surprise, the mother-in-law made a surprise appearance 30 minutes later, wearing a white-colored dress and in full makeup.
"Not ivory, not cream, full snow-f***ng-white. The dress was clearly a wedding dress; it was even from David's Bridal (which she would later shout at me). Floor-length satin with a sweetheart beaded top, a bit of a train and off-white lace on the bottom," the bridesmaid said.

"The dress was even tailored to her, this has been a long con she has orchestrated," the bridesmaid wrote," she added.
But the bridesmaid knew she had to do something. So, she made a promise to avenge her friend – and one that made the mother-in-law hate her forever.
"The bride burst into tears and aunts and friends ushered MIL (mother-in-law) out. We did our best to console the bride, touched up her makeup, and I made her a promise that the dress would never be seen in a photo. She looked me dead in the eye and nodded. The game was on," the bridesmaid said.
Since only white wine and champagne were served at the wedding party, she had to go to the reception to buy red wine.
"I grabbed my purse and ran down into the reception area and managed to flag an attendant by the bar and bribe him with a cool 20$ to give me a bottle of red early. I cracked the baby open, filled a solo cup to the brim with it and stalked outside. After a few swigs from the bottle for courage, I went over to where everyone was getting ready to take photos," she said.
When she finally got approval from the bride, she went on to proceed with her plan and poured the red wine.
"With one last hard stare at my friend, I got her nod of approval. I pulled out my phone, held it in front of my face like I was reading a text and walked straight into MIL (mother-in-law)," she said.

The bridesmaid went on:
"I poured the entire cup of red wine down the front of her dress, jumped back and gasped."
Of course, the reaction from the mother brought the house down as she went from screaming to sobbing.
"The look on her face was murderous. She screamed, yelled, threatened, and promised she would sue me. People had to hold her back because she wanted to fight me," she remarked.
"Eventually she switched from screaming to sobbing and sank to the ground and threw a tantrum on the floor," she added.
But even before the big day, the bride always had a feeling that her mother-in-law hated her even though she hadn't done anything.
"She had been to all manner of family functions and always came back with a strange story about how she thinks her MIL secretly hates her. But she being a very quiet and sweet person pushed those thoughts aside," the bridesmaid wrote.
One of the most unforgettable stories of the bride she said to the bridesmaid was when the mother-in-law all served dishes with meat in it even though the latter always knew she was a vegetarian. At that point, the mother-in-law had already known her for three years. Thankfully, the bride brought a vegetarian casserole.
"Friend drank water and ate her casserole the whole night while MIL (mother-in-law) cried to everyone that friend was so rude for not eating her cooking," the bridesmaid said.
Three months after the wedding, the bride expressed her gratitude to her:
"Bride thanked me in secret and 3 months later took me to the spa for a day of pampering. But I am officially 'that ISIS c**t' to MIL, and I'll take it with pride."
