Bride Walks In On Groom Being Breastfed By His Mom Moments Before Wedding Ceremony

Imagine spending months or even years planning your dream wedding. You have everything picked out to be as perfect as possible, from the decorations to the food to the music to the guests. Everything should run smoothly, and it’s only a matter of minutes before you finally agree to spend forever with the love of your life.

Unfortunately, this fairytale scenario came crashing down for one bride when she discovered her soon-to-be husband was in the bathroom with another woman right before the wedding was set to start. The situation was far more complicated than anyone could imagine.

Georgie Mitchell, wedding planner and host of the Unfiltered Bride podcast, spoke with her co-host, Beth, in February 2023 about a wedding story she’d heard from a wedding makeup artist. Mitchell referred to the makeup artist as Jenny, and explained how one of Jenny’s brides witnessed a horrific moment. Jenny had just finished putting the bride’s makeup on when the bride excused herself to use the restroom just before the start of the ceremony.

“She walked into the toilet and what she was is enough to end a wedding,” Mitchell said.

She prompted Beth to guess what the bride walked in on. Beth guessed almost every scenario in the book, from seeing the groom with someone else to him engaging in provocative behavior, but none of them were quite right.

Mitchell explained that what actually happened was “worse” than anything Beth could guess. Finally, she revealed, “He was being breastfed by his mum.”

Beth couldn't believe what Mitchell had just told her, and she wasn’t the only one. The women posted clips of their podcast online, and listeners and viewers were just as shocked by the wedding story.

Beth questioned how the bride could’ve stayed with the groom, knowing what was happening behind the scenes, but Mitchell believed that it wasn’t that simple. “I don’t think she knew that was what was happening,” Mitchell said, as per the Daily Mail.

Beth went on to ask how the groom’s mom was even able to still produce milk for him. “She’s obviously been doing it continuously to get to that point,” Mitchell reasoned.

Previously, the podcast co-hosts posted a clip of them discussing this story and received plenty of replies from their fans. It’s safe to say that people were completely horrified and disgusted.

“Omg I didn't know what to expect but that was not even a fleeting thought!!” one person commented. Another said, “The strongest man couldn't lift my jaw right now!”

A third person chimed in: “Took ‘mummy's boy’ to a whole new level.”

Another person admitted they had no idea what to expect when the story started, and they were in for quite the surprise. “The way I was like ‘nothing could (be) worse than him cheating…’ Yup that’s worse. I’d be a runaway bride so d*** fast,” they said.

While it’s safe to say that many commenters and potentially even the co-hosts themselves would’ve run away the moment they witnessed the incident, the bride had a very different reaction. In an even more shocking twist, the bride still went ahead with the wedding and married her groom despite seeing him be breastfed by his own mother.
