Wedding pictures should be something that the bride and groom remember for years. Even after all of the planning, there are sometimes hiccups that could occur on your wedding day. Whether it's food poisoning or something happening with your guests, there are dozens of things that could happen on your wedding day aside from exchanging vows that make it a day to remember.

Although there are some events that can be overlooked, delaying the wedding ceremony instead of canceling it altogether, Jessica Padgett can't say that her wedding day was one filled with joy. She took pictures on her wedding day, but they weren't the traditional ones of her and her groom with the wedding party.

Jessica had planned everything about her wedding so that it would be a day that she remembered for the rest of her life. Unfortunately, the day didn't go as she planned from the beginning. Jessica and her fiance, Kendall Murphy, wanted to get married in September.

They chose the 29th of the month to exchange their vows, but they were unable to do so because of a horrific accident.

Kendall worked as a volunteer firefighter. There was a wreck that he was called to help with on November 10, 2017. An injury resulted because of the crash. Because of his caring nature, Kendall knew that he had to do everything possible in order to help the victims in the accident. There were three firefighters altogether who responded to the accident scene.

A short time later, Colby Blake arrived on the scene as well, making the number of firefighters who responded a total of four. However, Colby had reportedly been drinking and crashed his vehicle into a truck.

Kendall was killed in the crash.

Jessica was heartbroken. The community and the fire department were heartbroken as well because Kendall was an upstanding young man who was always willing to help others. The day of Jessica and Kendall's wedding soon arrived, and Kendall's mother knew that the family and the community needed to do something to heal.

Jessica was asked to take part in a photo session. Mandi Knepp took pictures of Jessica in a stunning way that captured the love that she had for Kendall. There is a wedding party in the pictures as well as some images of Jessica in her wedding dress. There are also pictures of the family grieving at Kendall's grave.
