A bride’s wedding dress is usually a focal point of the ceremony, so it typically receives great attention and extra carefulness from the bride and her designer. Weddings are also considered important ceremonies that bind different families together.

Aside from flowers, cake, and decoration, one of the most important things to prepare or buy before a wedding is the white dress that the bride wears on the most special day of her life. It is an integral part of her history, through which photos and videos allow her to reflect on the special day whenever she feels nostalgic.

Since a couple’s nuptials are special, many people will splurge thousands of dollars just for a dress alone, which could have a significant impact not only on guests but also on the couple themselves. Some even spend millions of dollars just so that they can get the particular dress they have wanted all along.

Whether it was bought at a cheap wedding store, it was a heirloom, or it was customized by a well-known fashion designer, every bride wants their wedding dress to be perfect so they can feel special when they walk down the aisle.

In the case of one bride named Becky Jefferies, she had everyone gripping their seats when she stopped and made a special announcement when the wedding officiant asked her to deliver her vows to her husband.

After a video of this encounter was posted on TikTok, it amassed millions of views and thousands of comments from people online.

“Me in the middle of my wedding ceremony realizing I’d made a terrible mistake,” the text written by the bride that flashed over the clip read.

As the wedding officiant asked Jeffries and her now-husband to deliver their vows, she took the microphone and asked to pause the moment. Confused looks shot down the couple, especially Jeffries, for the somewhat questionable interjection.

“I just realized when I got up to the end of the aisle that I’m missing half of my dress. Maybe I could put it on now?” she asked with a smile.

The wedding guests all let out a relieved sigh and laughed as they cheered her on while one of her stylists fetched the large billowing skirt and train.

She also revealed that she had a dream where she had done the exact same thing.

“I’m sure you guys have never been to a wedding like this before,” Jeffries quipped as she pins her wedding skirt and train to her beautiful white gown. “Now I’m almost dressed.”

People on TikTok had nothing but praise for the transparent bride and even had a good laugh about it.

“I would’ve walked down the aisle again 🤣 just restart everything. You’re so cute 😍,” a user commented

“She handled that with so much grace!! She’s stunning regardless!” another wrote

Some even joked about her husband, who must have had a spine-tingling moment when she asked to pause.

“Imagine the panic her fiancé felt before she said it was her dress. He probably thought she wanted to stop the wedding 🙈😂,” a third person said

Many wondered where her maid of honor or bridesmaids were to tell her about it, but she clarified what happened earlier that moment.

“I didn’t have bridesmaids! When my girls and I arrived at the wedding, our planner hurried them to go sit down and it all happened in a flash 🙈,” she said, while also adding that they didn’t have a bridal party beforehand.
