A wedding ceremony is the happiest day in the life of any couple. The opportunity to stand in front of their loved ones and make a lifelong commitment is truly a beautiful thing for so many people. A wedding need not be big, face or expensive for it to mean something; as long as genuine love exists between the couple, a wedding day is special by default. Generally, the bride takes over planning the entire wedding ceremony as she thinks of it as her "big day." This isn't to say that the groom isn't involved, of course, but the main aspects of the wedding are left to the bride and her party. For most brides, planning a wedding ceremony takes a lot of work.

The stress of the big day can cause many brides to fall apart, so it is reasonable to think that every bride wants their day to go as planned. So when Liz Ravelhall from Warwickshire, England realized that her fiance, Ollie Ravelhall was trying to delay their ceremony, she became very upset. This wedding from 2017 did not seem like it was going the way that Liz Ravelhall wanted at all! It might have seemed like her soon-to-be-husband was trying to sabotage her hard work, but that wasn't the case at all. Liz Ravenhall is a music and dance teacher at Jaykays Dance Company, and she is loved by all her students. As a surprise for his fiancee, Ollie Ravenhall decided to get her students together for a performance of a lifetime.

Liz Ravenhall, the bride, is an instructor at a theater and dance at Jaykays Dance Company located in Warwickshire, UK. It looks like she is quite loved by her students and she naturally loves them all just as much! Teachers are some of the most influential people in our lives, and they have a keen ability to affect us in positive ways. Many of us can trace our biggest, life-changing decisions to something our teachers told us. Teachers like Liz Ravenhall give us a new perspective about what more we can achieve. After all, performance arts such as theater and dance are not always given their due credit. We definitely require more teachers like this bride who quite clearly has impacted her students to do something as heartwarming as this for her wedding day.

Luckily, Ollie Ravenhall knew that Liz’s students meant a lot to her. So he organized something in secret— a tribute that would be performed during the ceremony. By the looks of the video, the students seemed eager to celebrate with Ollie and Liz Ravehall! The ceremony started off as usual with the beautiful bride walking down the aisle, who is then received by her adoring husband at the altar. The church looks gorgeous and is warm and inviting, and then we see the members in the pews looking behind them. They have spotted something but the bride does not know yet. As Ollie and Liz prepare to say their wedding vows, Ollie springs his surprise. Instead of his vows, he points towards the balcony and tells his bride-to-be to look up. Up on the balcony, a very special group of people were there to provide an amazing performance for this wonderful bride.

Ollie had teamed up with the Jaykays Dance Company to put together an incredible performance. Her students performed “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri, bringing the bride to tears. As she became emotional, Ollie gives her a sweet kiss on her forehead, which shows how much he loves her. This dance and theater instructor was ecstatic to see all of her amazing students on the best day of her life. You can tell it meant the world to her! Her soon-to-be-husband has a heart of gold and was able to show her how much he loved her by planning such a wonderful surprise.

The video was created by Van Rensburg Films and in the description section, they wrote, "Watch unsuspecting Dance and Musical Theatre teacher Liz' reaction when she sees her pupils in the church balcony during her wedding ceremony. Jeren from Jaykays Dance Company planned the surprise along with Liz' fiance Ollie. The children were amazing at keeping the surprise a secret! Congratulations on your wedding Liz and Ollie."

Liz Ravelhall must have been a great teacher and employee to make such a profound impact on everyone that helped her husband create this wonderful surprise. After this incredible moment, we are sure that the couple's big day got only better. The two of them had a unique wedding that has captured the hearts of millions of people across the globe. Surprises like this are a once-in-a-lifetime event for the bride and groom, and this performance is sure to be remembered for the rest of their life.

A similar story had become popular on the internet in 2019, where a teacher was surprised at his wedding by his students and was also brought to tears. Christopher Landis from Hingham, Massachusetts was the Hingham Middle School's choir director and had quickly become a cherished figure there. When he got engaged to his long-term partner, Joseph Michienzie, he wasn't sure how his students would react upon finding out that he would have a husband soon. He kept the news under wraps for quite a while until the wedding day when he got the surprise of a lifetime. Not only did many of his students miss school to make Landis' day, but the entire school community seemed to pitch in.

On the day of his rehearsal brunch, his students all filed in together at the location and began singing "All You Need Is Love" by The Beatles. The gesture visibly moved Landis and he was in tears along with his partner at the thoughtfulness of his students. "I was flabbergasted by how much they cared," Landis told the New York Times. "As a middle-school teacher, I see students struggling so much with trying to figure out who they are," he added. "Some of the students singing have inner struggles, and things I know about going on at home. I was so glad they were there, feeling the love in the room and knowing everything’s going to be OK, that things do work out."

This just goes to show that teachers continue to hold an important place in our institutions, and they deserve to be celebrated by their students more often. We wish Liz and Ollie Ravenhall the very best for their future!
