Bride Discovers Secret Message From Late Mother On Wedding Heels

A parent’s love for the child can never be adequately expressed by words. But one mother of the bride wanted to try anyway. In 2016, Emma Letts was so excited about her engagement to Richard Wilson. She was ready to celebrate until heartbreak entered her life.

Soon after Emma and Richard became engaged, Emma’s mom was diagnosed with lung cancer. It was terminal.
Though the wedding date was still months off, Emma was torn because she wanted her mom to see her go through this life-changing event. She wanted to have the support of her best friend, to have the person who cared for her the most be there to celebrate her new life.
Emma revealed that her mom passed away before she got married. There were so many tears as she tried to plan a beautiful wedding without her mother’s help. As the big day drew near, Emma was heartbroken that her mom wasn’t going to be there.
She continued to plan and she eventually picked up the new shoes that she would wear when she walked down the aisle. The shoes were designed by Lace and Love.
When she received her finished heels, she got a surprise she couldn’t possibly have predicted. Emma’s fiancé knew how much her mom had meant to her. He wanted to help her mom be with her on the big wedding day.
He even knew about the surprise waiting inside the shoe box. When Emma pulled out her shoes, she saw a message but she had no idea who it was from.
The shoes had a message from Emma’s mom! Her mom had gotten in touch with the Lace and Love shop prior to her passing. She wanted to create a secret for her daughter so she could be with her in spirit, even if she couldn’t physically be there. She sent a message that would be stitched into the shoes.
The Lace and Love crew kept the message a secret until the shoes were ready. She left a heart jerking message on the shoes and she even paid for the custom footwear.
The message simply read, “Wanted you to have a gift from me on your wedding day” to show just how much she was loved.
