Truly great bands tend to have quite a fan base that performs covers to their songs. While most are average, only a few exceed expectations. This is one performance you aren't likely to forget.

Søren Bødker Madsen, a Danish guitar player, sits in front of a small audience in a light-filled room. He begins to strum his guitar. At first, you may not recognize the melody, but if you know anything about Metallica you'll soon realize what he is playing.

The song is the most peaceful version of "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica.

Madsen has an impressive biography. He got his start in Aarhus, Denmark and studied guitar with Leif Christensen and Maria Kämmerling at the Royal Academy of Music and then received his diploma in 1982. He has since continued his education as a soloist at Musik-Akademie der Stadt Basel, Darstellende Kunst, and Hochschule für Musik.

He was awarded a vote for his excellence at his exit exam and it was a unanimous decision!

He went on to further his education and participated in master classes. By the year 1986, Madsen had accomplished placing first in a competition held at the International Kutna Hora in Czechoslovakia. This wasn't a small task either. There were over 100 participants.

Since then, he has recorded several DVDs and CDs and performs concerts locally and abroad. He is also an instructor for those seeking to learn or perfect their guitar practice. Who wouldn't want to learn how to play from this guy?

Madsen goes on to play the entire song without hesitation and not one mistake.

It's the perfect classical cover.

Who would have thought this song could be so soothing? You could play this as a lullaby for your little one. I guarantee after a couple of plays they would be fast asleep.
