Bradley Cooper And Lady Gaga Are Both Officially Single, And 'A Star Is Born' Fans Are Rooting For Them To Get Together

Bradley Cooper and supermodel girlfriend Irina Shayk have called it quits following a four-year relationship, which means Cooper and his on-screen lover Lady Gaga are now both single.

The 44-year-old starred alongside Gaga in their movie ‘A Star Is Born’ playing Jackson and Aly, who are lovers in the film. Their chemistry both on the big screen and at the Oscars earlier this year have had fans raving about them since the film premiered in October 2018. Lady Gaga even told Vogue in an exclusive interview that she felt an immediate connection with cooper when she first met him.

"The second that I saw him, I was like, 'Have I known you my whole life?'" said Gaga. "It was an instant connection, instant understanding of one another."

Cooper also spoke about their connection when explaining his decision to cast her in the film, which he directed. According to Variety, the actor said he "fell in love with her face and eyes."

 Fans started speculating about their romance following an emotional performance of their song ‘Shallow’ at the 2019 Oscar awards. Gaga, however, told Jimmy Kimmel that the two were simply putting on an act and their relationship is purely platonic.

"Yes, people saw love and guess what? That's what we wanted you to see," she told Kimmel. "I'm an artist and I guess we did a good job. Fooled ya!"

 News of Cooper and Shayk’s breakup has inspired fans to create hilarious memes on the internet about the two actors finally becoming an item.

News of the couple’s split was reported by People Magazine, with sources confirming the news to US Weekly. The couple had been dating since 2015 and welcomed a daughter, Lea De Seine Shayk Cooper in 2017.

Lady Gaga is also single as of recent, after breaking up with her fiance Christian Carino in February this year.
