“A Star Is Born” was one of the most romantic movies of 2018 thanks to Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga’s on-screen chemistry. The movie was also a critical hit and earned them both best acting Oscar nominations, and a best original song nominee for “Shallow.”

Fans rejoiced when they could re-live the movie again at the song’s 2018 Academy Awards ceremony performance, but are now hungry for more Cooper-Gaga collaborations.

On a recent appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Bradley Cooper (director and star of the movie) gave fans a taste of a future reunion between the two. Fist he spoke about how they actually produced the live scenes of the movie in front of thousands of people. It was a surprise to know that at a Glastonbury festival performance that you see in the movie, the audience didn’t get to hear any of the songs at all.

Ellen gushed to him about their famous Oscars performance where Cooper and Gaga did a stripped down performance of “Shallow.” The two actor/singers started standing on the stage making eyes at each other, but Bradley just had to walk around the piano and sit next to Gaga. The finale involved them sharing the microphone and it was just like watching the movie again.

The performance was a fitting end to the Jack and Ally relationship but Ellen asked what all of us were thinking: if they were going to go on tour with the soundtrack. Cooper denied those rumors but then he said,

“What I thought would be a cool thing to do,” he told Ellen, “Maybe one night, would be like a live reading of the script and sing all the songs as we read the script, like at the Hollywood Bowl or something.”

The scenario is ideal for a reunion between the two creative forces of Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. It would capture the live concert aspect that the movie did so well on screen. The one-year anniversary of the release of “A Star Is Born” is coming up in August, maybe this is a perfect time to bring Bradley’s idea to life.

Some might say it would be an over-saturation of the movie, but maybe a live reading of the script would be a beautiful extension of it instead. Let us know what you think in the comments and be sure to pass this article along to your friends and family to find out how they feel about this reunion?
