Boys Want To Surprise Fun-Loving Grandma, But Find Out She Is One Step Ahead

Most kids would have a serious meltdown if their carefully plotted payback surprise got one-upped by someone else, especially the target of the surprise. But, if it involves grandma, one of the coolest entrances ever, and dinosaur costumes, then meltdowns are averted and the world just gets a video that’s sure to leave you smiling and laughing.

Over in Shawnigan Lake, British Columbia, Ethan and Owen Cooper had just become big brothers to a baby brother. Of course, this meant grandma was coming for a visit. The boys wanted to give her a big welcoming surprise. After all, this playful grandmother had just given them a huge surprise just few months earlier. They’d flown to see her, and she met them at the airport wearing a T-Rex costume. Their mom, Tabitha Cooper, caught the funny prankster greeting on video.

Now, though, it was their turn to do the greeting, and it was time for a little payback surprise. They asked their mom, Tabitha Cooper, if they could dress up as dinosaurs for grandma’s airport arrival. How could she say no to turning the Toronto airport into Jurassic airport with her two little velociraptors?

The big day finally arrives - grandma is coming to town. The boys, dressed in their very large and realistic dino gear, are entertaining other travelers as they bounce around in anticipation. The crowd of spectators just keeps getting bigger and bigger, and they all appear just as eager to see grandma’s reaction as the boys.

Tabitha begins filming just before her mom walks out. You can hear the surprise from everyone when grandma finally appears at the gate. Apparently, grandma had a surprise of her own up her sleeve (in her carryon bag.) Instead of seeing the sweet face of their grandma, the boys get reunited with grandma T-Rex. A security guard helped grandma get into costume between exiting the plane and arriving at the gate.

Apparently, Tabitha was the only one not shocked by all the dino love and seeing her mom dressed up in a gigantic inflatable dino costume - again. On the video, she can be heard saying her mom is nuts. The boys, thinking they were giving grandma a little playful payback for her prior shenanigans, got surprised with round two of T-Rex grandma. The video Tabitha posted on social media and YouTube quickly went viral and has been shared thousands of times by amused viewers.
