They also have a lot of questions about what the baby is going to be like. Sometimes parents will read a book to their child about how the baby will change the family.

A little boy named Kent went to meet his new brother named Noah in March 2017. His grandmother recorded the precious visit.

Kent was about to turn five that summer. Kids at this age are starting to develop more complex emotions and self-awareness. They are also more aware of the world around them and how relationships change. Kent sure was excited about meeting his brother and how this new baby would add to the family.

Kent also has Down Syndrome. His grandmother wrote that the moment Kent saw his little brother was one of the sweetest things she’s ever seen. Kent ran to the room where his mom and baby brother were staying because he was so excited to see his new sibling.

Kent brought a gift with him when he met his little brother. This is a common way parents help make their kids feel invested in the hospital visit and give them a sense of ownership in the experience. Kent handed the blue stuffed teddy bear to his little brother with a big smile on his face.

Kent got lifted onto the bed, so he could see his little brother. It’s clear from the smile on Kent’s face that he is so excited to see his new sibling. Doesn’t it just melt your heart?

Kent’s mom handed Noah to him and Kent smiled at the new baby. He looked at him with a lot of love and affection. Kent also played with his little brother’s feet! How precious is that?

This definitely was a happy visit for the two siblings. Don’t you think they will have a lot of fun playing together?
