Boy Sees A Newborn Under Christmas Tree And Reads Her Shirt To Discover The Truth

10-year-old Owynn Lindsay is kind of a special boy. Unlike most kids who have classic rivalry with their siblings, Owynn’s Christmas wish was to have a baby sister or brother. He has been telling his parents that he wants a sibling for years. He has even been adding this wish to his list for Santa Claus. It looks like this year Santa finally decided to grant Owynn his wish.

Stacey and Adam Lindsay have been trying to bring a second child into the world for seven years without success. Stacey grew up in a very large family with 14 siblings. Because of this, she felt it was important for her children to have at least some siblings in order to experience family life.

Sadly, the Lindsays suffered five miscarriages and one failed in-vitro fertilization attempt. They had to accept that adoption was the only solution. They began taking classes to learn about foster parenting, but when they learned how difficult it was for parents to release their children into foster care, the Lindsays decided against foster care. Young Owynn was not happy to hear about this decision because he had been expecting to finally have a sibling.

As fate would have it, the Lindsays encountered a young woman named Kendra who was looking for loving parents for her unborn baby. She told the Lindsays that she wanted them to adopt her baby at birth. The couple was thrilled with this news, but they also realized that the young woman could still change her mind, so they decided to keep the adoption a secret from Owynn.

On December 6th, Kendra gave birth to a baby girl who she named Naylee, and on December 8th, she gave the baby to the Lindsays. In a moment of inspiration, the Lindsays decided to wrap the newborn in blankets and place her under the Christmas tree in order to surprise their young son. When Owynn discovered his present under the tree, his heart-warming reaction was a special Christmas memory that the family would cherish forever.
