Three-year-old Roger had celebrated his birthday recently. His grandparents, who were all hunkered down in their homes due to the pandemic, attended his party virtually.

Due to the rising cases of the coronavirus, events and celebrations have been either postponed or canceled worldwide.

A little boy named Roger recently celebrated his third birthday day with all of his grandparents watching on screens – one tablet and two laptops. They all still got to sing Happy Birthday and watched as he blew out his candles and opened his presents.

It might not be the same as being there in person but advancement in technology has given us a great alternative to that.

Plenty of companies and workplaces worldwide are also taking their businesses online as a way of social distancing. The number of active coronavirus cases worldwide is over 274,500 as of this writing.

Roger received new clothes and a brand new scooter among his other wonderful presents. His siblings even carried around the devices which their grandparents were watching from and followed Roger as he test-drove the scooter around the house.
