Cats around the world are catching wind of an amazing story about a 9-year-old Boxer named Suzie. Kelly, Suzie's owner, was a strict dog-person in the past but has since taken a liking to cats. Before this adventure started, it was just Kelly and Suzie. They enjoyed spending their days in the sand and sun, having fun and letting loose.

The inseparable duo loved going for hikes in the woods, thinking about life on the beach, or gazing over vast waterways and lakes. They loved exploring and taking in all of the wonders that mother nature has to offer. It seemed like the story couldn't get any happier for the two.

However, five years ago marked a turning point in their relationship. It was an unexpected turn, but one that would prove to change things for the better. Kelly decided that Suzie should have a companion. She went searching at the local shelter for a foster dog. Before deciding on anything permanent, Kelly wanted to be sure that the siblings would be able to live together peacefully and get along.

Much to Kelly's surprise, the shelter didn't have any dogs. Instead, there was a group of kittens looking for a foster home. Kelly couldn't resist the cuteness of these 1-month-old kittens. She decided to take them home but only if her dog Suzie agreed.

Surprisingly, Suzie instantly took an interest in the kittens. In fact, Suzie seemed to enjoy caring for each cute furball. Ever since that special day, Kelly and Suzie's home has been a reliable foster home for kittens. Suzie welcomes every guest with open paws. Luckily, there's an Instagram page documenting all of the cuteness that abounds in this home.

Even though Kelly opened her home up to foster kittens, she vowed to never adopt one full-time. She was certain that she was a dog-person. But one cat was destined to change that for good. Kushi was a routine adoption for Kelly and Suzie that was supposed to be temporary like all of the others. This cat had some eye problems that needed some fixing. After living with Kelly and Suzie for a while, Kushi returned to the shelter. Kelly kindly decided to pay to help Kushi fix her eyes.

Even after the surgery, Kelly was determined to stick to her instincts as dog-person. However, something about that special cat made Kelly do something she never would have though possible: she adopted a cat full time. Kushi is now a permanent member of the family and even got a kitten of her own.
