The guitar is an American icon. No other instrument comes close to defining the rugged individualism that personifies this country. The following two guitar legends recently gave a shop owner the thrill of a lifetime.
An Antique Guitar Shop
The owner of Norman’s Rare Guitars has seen it all. His shop is filled with classic instruments such as a pair of acoustic Gibson J-35 from the 1930s, a 1957 Gibson Les Paul Special TV Model, and an extremely rare 1971 Fender Stratocaster.

Meets Two Guitar Legend
Through the years, Norman’s has hosted countless guitar players of all abilities and interests. Therefore, it was no surprise when guitarists Richie Sambora and Orianthi Panagaris walked through the door. Sambora played with Jon Bon Jovi for more than 30 years. Panagaris’ prodigious skill led to work with Michael Jackson and Alice Cooper.
Are We In Heaven Yet
While sampling the shop’s selection of antique guitars, the two burned through classic guitar solos and numerous riffs. Shoppers and staff stopped to bask in their presence. This was world-class guitar playing at its best.
The contrast of such excellent guitar playing during an ordinary day at a shop proves that anything can happen anywhere. Wouldn’t it have been exciting to have been there?
