The song was written by a team of songwriters: Shane McAnally, Ross Copperman, Josh Osborne and, Tommy Lee James. The lyrics and music hold a special place in Shelton's heart as they tell the love story between him and his wife Stefani. Musician Stefani, 50, was the one who first introduced the song to Shelton.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Shelton revealed:
"Gwen was crying when we even just talked about singing it together at all... It just seemed to fit perfectly with our story, and, musically, I think it walks the line of what I can do and what she can do. Everything just kind of aligned and came together, and it's one of those once-in-a-lifetime moments."

It's always amazing to watch couples sing such heartfelt lyrics to each other. Sometimes the best way to express love is through music. We will need to watch this space to see if Shelton can get another few No.1s under his belt. Then he would take over Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw who currently have 30 hits and 29 hits each.
