They've collaborated together in the past but now their new duet Nobody But You has gone to number one in the charts and subsequently become Stefani's first top-ranking country song. Shelton congratulated his long-term girlfriend on her first country number one, and Stefani couldn't be more thankful and excited about it.

Released on Blake Shelton's fifth compilation album Fully Loaded: God's Country, Nobody But You was officially released as the third single from the record in January 2020 with an accompanying music video. It then reached number one on the Billboard US Country Airplay chart, making it Stefani's first number one country single.

Blake Shelton was quick to congratulate his girlfriend, taking to Twitter to write: "Congratulations @gwenstefani on your first country song going #1 at country radio!!! Not bad for your first try!!!!! Thank you all as well!!! #nobodybutyou." It's sweet to see Blake so public with his praise of Gwen.

Gwen responded with just as much excitement to Blake's tweet, writing in response: "Trying to wrap my head around the fact that I even get to know you Blake Shelton 😍-let alone be on Such a beautiful classic duet w u?! 🤯 thank you ! for taking me along on this ride with you!! I am so grateful and blown away by all the support everyone has shown us!!?!! 😳🙏🏻 gx."

People magazine reported that Nobody But You has received over 80 million on-demand streams and possesses over 750,000 track equivalents. For seven consecutive weeks it also featured in the top 3 of Shazam's country chart.

The music video for the single featured the two singers showing off their love for the world to see. Shot in both a studio and out by a beautiful lake, the video features footage of the two of them separately, singing about how they "don't wanna love nobody but you," as well as scenes of them together on a date, relaxing on a couch, and driving in a car.

People further reported that in a press release about the song, Shelton congratulated Stefani as well as thanking his songwriters for the song. He explained: "I knew the moment I heard this song that I wanted to record it. Shane McAnally, Ross Copperman, Josh Osborne and Tommy Lee James, you wrote a perfect song in which every lyric has meaning in my life, and I thank you." He then added, "And finally, thanks to Gwen for joining me and making this one of the most special songs I've recorded. Congratulations on your first number one country single!"

Before Nobody But You hit number one, the duo released an acoustic rendition of the song. They also performed it live at Shelton's final Los Angeles show recently, as well as at the Grammy Awards earlier this year.

The couple have been together since November 2015 and have been nothing but supportive of each other since they first met on the music competition show The Voice. Here's hoping they release more music together!
