Ever since giving birth to her first child, Grace Warrior Irwin Powell, on March 25, 2021, 22-year-old Bindi Irwin and her husband Chandler Powell, 24, have been delighting their fans by posting cherished moments on their social media accounts.

The couple’s announcement of Grace's birth went viral as fans from around the world heard the news. As if the birth of the animal-loving couple’s first baby wasn’t special enough, Bindi and Powell revealed that Grace was also born on their first wedding anniversary.

In the lead up to Grace's one-month birthday, Bindi shared a moving tribute to her husband of one year, detailing how much she and their newborn daughter cherish having him in their lives. Then on April 25, exactly one month since Grace was born, Bindi shared an adorable video of her daughter dressed in her very first pair of Australia Zoo khakis — the famous uniform that they wear while working — with her name on them.

Bindi's romance with Powell has captivated fans of the Irwin family since July 2019 when the two announced their engagement. From what fans have heard of the couple, it often seems like Bindi and Powell are a match made in heaven. Take the couple’s wedding as an example. Although the global pandemic forced them to change some of their arrangements, they still managed to have what seemed like a magical wedding in the gardens of Australia Zoo in Queensland on March 25, 2020. Their ceremony even included a koala as well as a beautiful floral arrangement.

From the number of photos and videos Bindi Irwin has been posting of her newborn daughter to her social media accounts, it's clear that she and her husband Chandler Powell are absolutely enamored with their baby. They're clearly very fond of each other too, which Bindi made clear to the world when she shared a special tribute to her husband alongside a photo of their young family.

Posted to her Instagram a few days before Grace turned one month old, Bindi shared a touching photo of Powell, who is wearing a black T-shirt, and holding his newborn daughter while smiling widely at her. Alongside the moving image she wrote:

"A note of gratitude for this incredible man that I get to call my husband. Grace and I are beyond blessed to have him in our lives. His strength, love and kindness are the greatest gifts in the world. ❤️ "

Then just one day later, she shared a photo of her daughter in honor of her one-month birthday. Grace is laying down on a blanket with a small sign declaring she is one month old. What makes the photo completely adorable is that she's wearing her very own newborn-sized khaki shirt — the well-known Australia Zoo uniform — with her own name on it. She is also surrounded by star tortoises, undoubtedly from the zoo. Bindi captioned the magical moment:

"To celebrate one month, our beautiful Grace Warrior received her first khakis and met the star tortoises here at Australia Zoo. We’re so proud of our Wildlife Warrior princess. I know our darling girl is going to grow up caring for Mother Earth and all her animals."

While fans are overjoyed for Bindi and Powell, the news of their new bundle of joy immediately calls to mind her late father, Steve Irwin, and the fact that he will never get to meet his granddaughter.

In a special titled "Crikey! It's a Baby," Bindi opened up about the fact Grace will never get to meet her grandfather. In a trailer for the special, Bindi spoke openly and honestly about this, saying:

"It’s hard knowing that she’ll never get to actually meet (my dad), and it’s devastating because I’ll never get to watch that connection. But I cannot wait to be able to tell beautiful Grace all of these stories about Dad, to be able to share with her what an amazing father he was."

In fact, little Grace already shares something with her incredible grandfather — she was named in tribute to him. When announcing Grace's birth on her Instagram, Bindi wrote:

"Grace Warrior Irwin Powell. Our graceful warrior is the most beautiful light. Grace is named after my great-grandmother, and relatives in Chandler’s family dating back to the 1700s. Her middle names, Warrior Irwin, are a tribute to my dad and his legacy as the most incredible Wildlife Warrior."

The Wildlife Warriors project was started in 2002 by Steve and Terri Irwin as part of the Australia Zoo "as a way to include and involve other caring people in the protection of injured, threatened or endangered wildlife — from the individual animal to an entire species." What a beautiful way to honor Steve Irwin!
