Bindi Irwin tied the knot back in March, amid the early stages of the coronavirus pandemic. This meant that her plans of a regular wedding were changed so that only her mother, brother, and father's best friend could attend the ceremony, which was held at Australia Zoo.

Now, in a heartwarming video, Bindi shares her special day with the world and opens up about her late father Steve Irwin, who she honored at her wedding.

Taking place on March 25, Bindi Irwin's wedding to Chandler Powell wasn't the big wedding she had dreamed of. Amid coronavirus restrictions, the couple decided to go ahead with their planned date without any guests present, except for her mother Terri, brother Robert, and her father's best friend Wes.

Now, two months after their special day, Bindi and Chandler have released a special video for the world to catch a glimpse into their wedding, all the while honoring her father Steve's legacy. Known as the "Crocodile Hunter," Steve co-owned and operated Australia Zoo in Queensland, and was well known for his love of animals. However, he met his untimely death in 2006 after a stingray pierced his chest, as he was filming on Australia's Great Barrier Reef.

After all these years, Bindi hasn't forgotten about her dad, and included him in a central part of her wedding ceremony. In the video she discusses her father, stating: "I think that Dad's with us, too, in a way. I think that his spirit lives on in everything that we do, so I feel like he's going to be there walking beside me and (brother) Robert as we head down that aisle."

Her and her new husband Chandler appeared standing next to a picture of Steve and his beloved dog Sui, as they prepared to light a candle for him. Bindi explained while holding back tears: "And this candle is to represent Dad, who I wish could've been here. I think it's really special that he's always with us and he walks beside us with everything that we do." The couple then lit the candle together.

Also in the video, Bindi's family members offered their words of love and support to the happy couple. Her mother Terri said: "Bindi, you're the most beautiful girl, and Chandler you're the most perfect man to marry Bindi, and I know Steve's here and I know he's smiling on you."

But it was Bindi's brother Robert, who also walked her down the aisle, who came through with the tear-jerking speech. Speaking about walking her down the aisle, as he also choked back tears, he said: "It was probably the greatest honor and the most special moment of my life, for sure. I couldn't be more delighted to welcome Chandler into the family, and I know Dad would be proud."

The video also featured a lot of animals, of course. The couple were photographed with snakes and koalas (however, not at the same time!), looking very happy and in their natural element.
