Bindi Irwin And Fiancé Chandler Powell Adopt A Puppy: "Our Family Is Growing!"

Recently-engaged couple Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell just grew their family by four more legs. The pair adopted a puppy ahead of their upcoming nupitals. 

Bindi revealed to Entertainment Tonight the location of she and Chandler's wedding, which is set to place sometime this year.  "For me, the most important thing is getting married here at Australia Zoo because this is where I feel closest to dad." Chandler and Bindi met at Australia Zoo when Bindi gave her future husband a tour of the grounds.

Recently Bindi shared on her social media page how she and Chandler have adopted a puppy together. The conservationist wrote next to several pictures of the new puppy, "Our family is growing!" The 23-year-old posted the photos right before the new year.

Chandler and I are so happy to introduce you to our sweetheart Piggy. 2020 is going to be beautiful. Happy New Year ❤️

Bindi's father, Steve Irwin, died tragically in 2006 while filming a documentary on ocean life. Bindi feels that the best way to honor him is to focus on family at the wedding. Speaking to People, Bindi said: 

“I really want to include Dad on the day and make sure that he is with us in some way — just little bits of Dad that will make it feel like he’s there with us. We’ll have candle lighting ceremony, so we’ll be able to all get up as a little family and light a candle in his honor and share a few words on what an amazing dad he was and still is.”

In addition to the photos of the puppy, Chandler and Bindi also shared some holiday shots of them with christmas sweaters on. Bindi wrote next to a photo of her hugging chandler, "All smiles because I’m in love with you, it’s Christmas and my sweater lights up..."
