While all students may be subjected to bullying at some point in their school career, students with disabilities often bear the brunt of this terrible behavior.
Because of this, it was understandable that Sean Maehrer’s parents worried about him as he began his journey through high school. As a student with Down Syndrome, Sean was about to start a new transition in his life and his parents were rightfully anxious about how the other students would react to their boy.

Sean's parents took to Facebook to post their concerns about Sean starting school. The post quickly went viral. Because of the coverage of the post, a host of local motorcycle clubs showed up to Sean's house on the first day of school to escort the student, reports Biker Digital.
The clubs are known for their support of US troops and veterans but they were clearly not above also helping a needy student.
The tough bikers wanted to send the message that bullying would not be tolerated and any offenders would have to answer to them. Can you imagine how excited Sean was to have these guys escorting him to school?
It is no surprise that a special friendship evolved from the act of service. Now the group of bikers regularly attend Sean's soccer games to show him their support as they cheer him on. The sweet boy now has people looking out for him for the rest of his life.
