Although Beyoncé has been the headliner for the festival before she chose to be a bystander watching popular R&B and rap performers like Cardi B and Travis Scott take the reigns. Lizzo who has made headlines since releasing her hit “Truth Hurts,” was very excited about having Beyoncé watch her performance.

Lizzo posted two photos of her performing where Beyoncé can be seen watching in the background with Jay Z. She captioned the photo, “Swipe to lose your f***** mind 🐝.”

Beyoncé got a surprise backstage when some group members brought out a birthday cake and sang “Happy Birthday” to the "Lemonade" star. Jay-Z stood next to her and sang along celebrating his wife’s special day.
