'Beverly Hills 90210' Star Luke Perry Dies At Age 52 After Suffering A 'Massive' Stroke

After suffering a massive stroke, Luke Perry has reportedly passed away.

Perry was rushed to St. Joseph's Hospital in Burbank, CA on Feb. 27 after suffering a stroke at his Sherman Oaks, CA home. While he was still conscious and talking at the time, the damage was already irreversible. 

TMZ was the first to report his death on Monday morning at St. Joseph's Hospital, which was later confirmed by People.

The actor was well-loved for his role on Beverly Hills, 90210, and recently came back into the spotlight as Fred Andrews on Riverdale.

"He was surrounded by his children Jack and Sophie, fiancé Wendy Madison Bauer, ex-wife Minnie Sharp, mother Ann Bennett, step-father Steve Bennett, brother Tom Perry, sister Amy Coder, and other close family and friends," Arnold Robinson, the actor's rep, told The Hollywood Reporter.

"The family appreciates the outpouring of support and prayers that have been extended to Luke from around the world, and respectfully request privacy in this time of great mourning. No further details will be released at this time."
