Fans of the reality TV show “Dog the Bounty Hunter” remember Duane “Dog” Chapman’s wife Beth Chapman for her platinum blonde hair and for her own skills as a bounty hunter.

She recently shared a photo on Instagram of herself and Dog with the words “Happy Anniversary Dog & Beth” across the top, and the “WGN America” logo and “Dog’s Most Wanted” logos emblazoned on it. She simply captioned the photo, “It’s coming.” It’s a significant post since it’s a celebratory anniversary photo shared right in the middle of Beth’s unfortunate battle with throat cancer.

Fans reacted to the anniversary post with dozens of well wishes saying “Happy anniversary” and one commenter even said “Most adorable couple ever,” and another saying “Happy Anniversary Beth & Duane Chapman! Many more healthy & happy years to come.”

People reported that her cancer returned in 2018 and showed through her social media posts that Dog was right by her side during the whole journey. Beth shared a photo on Instagram of the two of them at the hospital.

Earlier this month People also reported that Beth spoke to the congregation at Source Church in Bradenton, Florida about her illness. She said:

“I don’t go to God and go, ‘Why did I get cancer?’ He’ll roll his eyes at me again, because I know why—because this is the ultimate test of faith. It is the evidence of things hoped for and it is the substance of things not known.”

In the same speech, she seemingly announced that she has stopped chemotherapy treatments by saying:

“Chemotherapy is not my bag, people. Sorry, that’s not for me. So for me, this is the ultimate test of faith. This is my ultimate lesson. And it will either be taught to me or to you. And I am fine with taking the hit for everyone else. Because I think I know another guy who did the same thing.”
