Beth Chapman Called Cancer ‘The Toughest Battle’ At Mother’s Day Service Appearance

Duane “Dog” Chapman and Beth visited The Source Church at Bradenton, Florida, on Mother’s Day, and she revealed her greatest challenge yet.

The event was streamed live on the church’s Facebook page so those who wanted to participate could do so, even if they weren’t members of the local community.

The service was held in honor of Beth, who is battling cancer. It allowed her to give encouragement to her fans, who have kept the reality star in their thoughts and prayers throughout her journey.

She also took the opportunity to express her gratitude to Pastors Ralph and Joanne. She wanted to thank them for giving her a platform to spread her story, especially on a day dedicated to celebrating mothers.

She said her journey with cancer is the ‘toughest battle’ she’s ever been faced with. Her faith in God and the support of her family, however, have given her all the strength she needs to keep fighting.

The “WGN” star has held her faith close to her heart since she was diagnosed. Dog has stood by her side through everything.

“I don’t listen to the bad news. I don’t want to hear it,” he told US Magazine. “I pray a lot, anywhere. I cry all the time. … I constantly ask God to heal my honey and make sure He takes care of it.”

Apparently, Beth is still attempted to maintain control and do all of the things she did before her diagnosis. Her resilience and strength have been astounding to both Dog and her fans since she was first diagnosed with stage II throat cancer in 2017.

She was declared cancer-free after undergoing surgery, but it came back less than one year later in 2018.

The 51-year-old reality star is currently undergoing chemotherapy and is doing her best to maintain her faith and stay positive. She focuses on always counting her blessings - including her newborn great-grandson, who she welcomed earlier this year.
