Best Buy Employees 'Fix' Toddler's Favorite Toy Dinosaur After It Broke

A few awesome Best Buy employees pulled off an incredible medical miracle: they turned a frown into a smile, all while miraculously healing an ailing dinosaur that technically was thousands and thousands of years old.

3-year-old Jordan thought his world was ending when one of his favorite toys, a “Dino Baby” raptor, broke suddenly. His mom, Niah, was equally distraught that the dino baby was broken. The dinosaur was Jordan’s favorite Christmas present that past year and he loved the toy so much that he told everyone he met that the dino was his baby.

On the day the dino broke, Jordan was so upset that he just sat quietly with a look of despair on his face, clutching the baby dinosaur gently. Niah said that the sad look on Jordan’s face simply broke her heart.

She knew that she couldn’t let him go on being so sad for the loss of his baby dino. She knew that she couldn’t just replace the toy that meant so much to her young son. She knew that she had to go above-and-beyond to help the baby dino get better somehow.

Niah used her superpowers as a mom to put together an awesome plan. She quickly found an identical toy online and ordered it. Now, all she had to do is make sure that Jordan didn’t know that the new toy wasn’t the original “Dino Baby” toy he received on Christmas.

The toy was available for pickup at her local Best Buy in Jacksonville, Florida. She and Jordan headed to Best Buy to get the new Dino.

What happened next was absolutely heartwarming. Niah and Jordan walked towards the pick-up desk at Best Buy and she playfully asked to see a dinosaur doctor who could heal the broken head of Jordan’s original baby dino.

She had simply hoped that the Best Buy employee would play along and give her the pre-ordered toy. However, Best Buy employees Tina and Stephanie decided they also wanted to go above-and-beyond to make Jordan’s day.

They took the baby dino into an immediate dinosaur surgery behind their counter. While they verified Niah’s order for the new dino, they pretended to perform an operation to fix the dino, even saying, “just a few more stitches!”

They handed the new toy over to Jordan and he was thrilled to see his precious baby dino was all healed and ready to go home. He gave the Best Buy “doctors” a beaming smile before heading home with his treasured toy.
