Ben Affleck Gushed About Wife Jennifer Lopez Being ‘Super Human’ And People Can’t Get Enough Of How Sweet He Is

A-list celebrity couples are always fun to keep up with, and one of the quintessential pairs is Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, who are also known by the portmanteau “Bennifer.” The term is one of the first instances of a couple’s names being used this way. Both artists are known for their illustrious careers. Affleck is an actor and filmmaker, while Lopez is a singer and actress.  

The couple has a colorful dating history. The two actors met in 2001 on the set of the film “Gigli.” They first began dating in 2002 and were engaged to be married in 2003. Sadly, their wedding was postponed, and then the pair decided to split up in 2004. However, during their time together, the couple became an iconic celebrity romance. There were tons of paparazzi photos of the two of them being affectionate that frequently made headlines. This coverage continued when Affleck showed up in Lopez’s music video for her song “Jenny from the Block.”

In 2021, after they both were finally single again, Affleck and Lopez decided to get back together. In July of that year, Lopez confirmed they were dating in a social media post. And just one year later, in July 2022, Bennifer finally tied the knot and officially became husband and wife.

Since reuniting together, the couple has never been shy about expressing their love for one another, and fans are very happy about it! Speaking to Drew Barrymore on her own show, Affleck revealed something upsetting about her wife’s eating habits that even he was shocked to unfold. Read on to find out what it is!

The biggest news of 2022 for Bennifer was that the couple took things one step further and got engaged! Their second engagement has proved that finding the greatest love of your life when you are older is not only possible but can become one of the best things to happen to you. 

Lopez spoke to People Magazine about what makes their relationship different today as compared to 18 years ago and said, “We’re older now, we’re smarter, we have more experience, we’re at different places in our lives, we have kids now, and we have to be very conscious of those things.”

On July 16, 2022, Lopez and Affleck finally tied the knot! According to NBC News, the couple obtained their marriage license in Clark County, Nevada, that same day and wed in Las Vegas.

Aside from working together romantically as a couple, Affleck revealed in a The Hollywood Reporter interview that he and Lopez also jived together as artists and actors. Turns out, Lopez gave Affleck a huge help on the movie “Air,” an ensemble autobiographical sports film directed by him. 

“Oh my God, she’s brilliant. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the way fashion evolves through the culture as a confluence of music, sports, entertainment and dance. She helped me in talking about the way in which a part of the reason why Jordans [the shoes] were so meaningful is because culture and style in America is 90 percent driven by Black culture,” she told the outlet. 

Affleck’s fascination with his wife when it came to her business acumen wasn’t the only thing he was most fond of – how she manages to age backward continues to blow his mind away!

Affleck stopped by “The Drew Barrymore Show” in a virtual interview and had a quick chat about the “50 First Dates” star. In their conversation, Barrymore asked if there was a “cheat drawer” in their home, which prompted Affleck’s face to give a rather grim face. 

“Let me tell something that’s going to upset you,” he warned Barrymore. “Jennifer just eats whatever she wants. Whatever she wants... Pizza, cookies, ice cream. Everything.”

Barrymore was shocked to hear Affleck’s revelation, possibly because it sounded impossible for that because of his wife’s alluring physique. Asking if it is because of the strenuous workout regimen, Affleck cheekily admits that even though he works out too, he could not manage to “magically appear to be 20 years old” like his 53-year-old wife does. 

“There’s no taking away the work ethic. The work ethic is real, the discipline is very real. But also, the super human thing is real,” he gushed. “She’s the most gorgeous woman in the world, she looks spectacular.”

Affleck’s continuous praise and compliments about his wife left Barrymore swooning and slouching while hearing the beautiful descriptions of Lopez come out of her husband’s mouth. 

When Affleck asks if she’s there as he seems to leave her quiet, Barrymore responds: “This is me living vicariously through romance and men appreciating women and all of that.” 

People online could not get over Affleck’s sweetness and kind words about his wife; in the YouTube recording of their conversation, they showered him with praises and compliments. 

“This is so sweet, That man is so in love his wife..so adorable 🥹️” someone wrote. 

“Get’chu a man that admires you and can talk about all day long the way Ben does about his wife,” another suggested.
