It seems like a young narwhal has found a new family in a group of Beluga whales. Originally, the narwhal became lost after stumbling into the St. Lawrence River in Canada. Luckily, the lost narwhal ended up making friends with the beluga whales.

Narwhals are naturally striking creatures. They have a long tooth-like tusk that can grow up to eight feet in length. Because of this long tusk, narwhals have been called the unicorns of the sea.

This particular narwhal made friends with the beluga whales about three years ago. At the time, GREMM was monitoring the whales with a drone. The non-profit group spotted the beluga whales playing and swimming with the narwhal.
