Bearded Psycho Slips Into Mother's Car And Attempts To Kidnap Sisters But Older One Outsmarts Him

Two young girls escaped a kidnapping while on their way to Busch Gardens in Virginia. If it weren't for the quick thinking of twelve-year-old Maddie, things could have ended up very differently. After witnessing a car accident on the road, Brandie Wheeler pulled over with her two daughters to assist in the situation.

While Brandie was on the phone with the police, she noticed a man heading towards her car. Frantically, she started screaming and attempted to run to the vehicle. However, she was too late and the bearded man jumped in the vehicle and attempted to take off.

Maddie made a split second decision that likely saved the two girls from being kidnapped, by taking an action that few people would even think about. She grabbed the gearshift and shifted the vehicle into drive, which prevented the car from starting.

Since the car was in park at the time their mother left the vehicle, Maddie knew putting the car in drive would prevent the man from starting the engine. After doing this, she held the gear in drive and started hitting the man as hard as she could.

She wound up hitting him so hard that she injured her arm, but her actions absolutely saved her and her younger sister.

One of the things that may have contributed to her actions is the fact that she comes from a family of police officers and firefighters. Her father stated to the media that he has had talked to his kids about these types of situations and that if this were to happen he is confident they would know what to do.

While he expected Maddie to punch the attacker and scream, he didn't expect her quick wit at putting the car into drive.

This is something most active drivers would not consider, which is really impressive when you consider the fact that she is just twelve years old.

Maddie's actions highlight just how important it is to take action when encountering this type of a situation.

Had she not jumped into action and attacked the potential kidnapper, the lunatic may have driven off with the two sisters in the vehicle.

If you ever find yourself in this type of situation, make sure you do everything in your power to fight off the attacker and make as much noise as possible.

While most people think this type of thing will never happen to them, it's important to be prepared for the possibility and have an action plan in place. What do you think of Maddie's bravery? Let us know in the comments and pass this along to your friends and family!
