If you have ever spend any amount of time on the internet, you may end up feeling mad, sad, or angry. There are a lot of news stories out there that do nothing but make us regret even logging on to read the news. However, once in a great while you will come across some news that will make your day. It’s great to see that mankind has grown in some ways.
A beachwear company in Florida has done something most companies have yet to do. They hired a 16-year-old with Down’s syndrome, named Ethan Holt, to model their clothing. Holt is on his way to being an aspiring model. We can already tell that he will likely make it! That is because he has an incredible charisma when the cameras are on him. He is now the face of the latest ad campaign put out by Surf Style. According to reports by Fox News, the young man recently modeled for the souvenir and clothing company. The company has received a tremendous amount of attention since Holt was given the opportunity. Holt, who is from St. Petersburg, said that he is very excited about it.

Phoy, the model’s mother, is very happy and overwhelmed by all of the love and support the ads have gained. She said that the Surf Style gig is perfect for her son, who loves being in the water. She also revealed that Holt was on the swim and paddleboard team in the Special Olympics.
Holt was given the modeling opportunity after the nonprofit organization known as Help Us Gather reached out to the company about the model last month. Help Us Gather works to break down the barriers that those who live with disabilities face on a daily basis. They believed that Holt would be the perfect face for the company. We can honestly say that they were right. You can learn more from the video below:
