Barbra Streisand gave fans at her show a surprise when she brought out her ex-costar Kris Kristofferson onto the stage for an unexpected performance. The pair had starred together in the 1976 rendition of “A Star Is Born.”

Over the weekend, Streisand was performing for the British Summer Time Concert at Hyde Park in London before she started showing scenes from her film “A Star Is Born.” Streisand had written the love theme for the film. She then turned to the side of the stage and welcomed Kristofferson saying, “one of my favorite leading men."

The stars performed “Evergreen” together with scenes from “A Star Is Born” playing in the background. Variety said the show was Streisand’s biggest audience (65,000) since 1968 when she performed in Central Park for 150,000. However, Kristofferson and Streisand were the ones who were truly reliving the past with their sweet duet together.

Streisand had teased the reunion in an Instagram post she shared back in April. She posted a picture of her and Kristofferson writing alongside the photo, “It was wonderful to see my friend Kris who stopped by yesterday...Stay tuned.”

The singer also performed other hits like "As If We Never Said Goodbye," "Alfie," "Second Hand Rose," "Silent Night," "What the World Needs Now" but she finished out the night with "The Man That Got Away," according to CNN
