Barbara Eden has spent more than six decades in Hollywood, but even at 95, she’s showing no signs of slowing down.

The legendary actress stepped onto the red carpet on Friday, June 27, for Project Angel Food’s seventh annual Lead with Love fundraiser at KTLA 5 Studios in Hollywood, joining a star-studded lineup that included Noah Wyle, Amy Poehler, Adam Brody, and Brooke Shields.

The annual televised event raises money to provide medically tailored meals for people living with serious illnesses throughout Los Angeles County, a cause that has attracted support from some of the entertainment industry’s biggest names.

For the occasion, Eden looked effortlessly elegant in an all-white pantsuit paired with a royal blue silk blouse, completing the look with gold jewelry and hoop earrings as she greeted photographers and fans.

The appearance was another reminder that the beloved television icon continues to embrace public life decades after becoming one of television’s most recognizable stars.

Retirement, she has previously admitted, has never really appealed to her.

Speaking with PEOPLE in 2021, Eden explained that she intended to keep working for as long as she possibly could.

“Sometimes one is forced to slow down, but I’ll do what I do until I can’t,” she said.

While she joked that she now prefers venturing out in “a mask and dark glasses” to enjoy a quieter life in Beverly Hills, the actress has continued to make public appearances and support charitable causes that remain close to her heart.

But this latest appearance wasn’t the moment that had longtime fans smiling.

Instead, it was something she did before heading inside that instantly transported generations of television viewers back to more than half a century ago.

For millions of fans, Eden will always be remembered as the playful genie who charmed television audiences throughout the 1960s. More than 50 years after “I Dream of Jeannie” ended, that connection has never faded. Speaking with PEOPLE in 2025, Eden admitted she never expected the sitcom to become such an enduring worldwide phenomenon.

“I didn’t realize, actually, how popular Jeannie was until several years after, and it still amazes me,” she said.

“I can’t believe it. I have mail from Russia. Can you imagine?”

The actress said fan letters continue arriving from countries including China, Japan, Germany, Poland, Italy, South America and the United Kingdom. “If you had told me that when we were shooting, I wouldn’t have believed it,” she said. For Eden, the show’s lasting popularity has always been about the character rather than herself. “I like her a lot,” she said. “I think what makes me so happy is that so many people around the world like her.”

“They like that character. And they like the show for what it is. It takes people out of themselves and into another world.”

Those words made her latest red carpet appearance feel even more meaningful.

Before entering the Lead with Love charity event, Eden paused for photographers and delighted fans by recreating her unmistakable “I Dream of Jeannie” pose, proving that even at 95, a little television magic never goes out of style.
