There are definitely plenty of people out there that are suspicious about what the government is doing with some of its drones. Eagles Are Finding Work Dealing With Nuisance Drones

It probably shocks many that first hear about it, but there is a growing trend to train eagles to be able to take down nuisance drones. Eagles are turning out to be really good when it comes to the topic of taking down drones and that is why they are currently being trained to do so.

This is what the police in the Netherlands are currently doing to deal with the problem posed by unauthorized drones, as reported by BBC. There is growing concern that many drones are being used to commit illegal acts and so there is a lot of incentive to find ways to take them down.

These Beautiful Birds Seem to Naturally Dislike This Bit of Technology

Though the example of the Dutch case involves trained eagles being used to take down illegal and unauthorized drones, it would appear that these beautiful birds simply do not like drones in general.

Case in point, when a bald eagle tangled unexpectedly with a government drone last month in Michigan and won. The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy disclosed the attack almost one month after the eagle sent the $950 drone into the Great Lake. According to CNN, data from the flight showed that the eagle struck the drone about seven minutes into its flight, and within a half-second, the drone started to spiral. Three seconds later, the drone's propeller was torn off, and it fell 160 feet into the water below.
